exe file, and all i do is stuff it into the game directory, overwriting the retail one, and away i go?i did the full install, so i thought i loaded all the music, and video files i need, so the cd wouldn't be necessary? i was hoping someone could email it to me, or post a link to the file.or post up any experience with a particular file. ![]() do i need to go this complicated a route to accomplish this offline too? there are so many different "no cd" files out there, all in different file forms, and sizes, it is hard to know which to get. ![]() i am using version 1.09 lod expansion pack.i have tried searching the net, and i have downloaded a few so called "no-cd" files, but once unzipped, i find loaders, and other hacks to play on battlenet, without the cd drive. Ive followed the directions given by blizzard, yet I still cant get it to work. ![]() so.i was wondering if anyone has any tips for playing diablo2 without the cd inserted in the drive? i do not play online, just single player, offline. mpq files on the LoD disk to the Diablo II directory, yet it still says that I need a disk. Hey all, after seeing all the diablo 2 threads popping up here, i decided to re install it, and re play an old favorite.which leads me to this: i dunno if my cd drive is going flakey, or my retail disc of diablo2 : lord of destruction is beginning to shatter, or what.but the disc/drive area is emitting a horrible high pitched, vibrating sound during play.
